Our Firewood Selection

At Blaydon Firewood, we offer both softwood and hardwood options, all kiln-dried for optimal burning. Our logs are ideal for log burners, stoves, and open fires, providing a clean, long-lasting burn. We supply quality logs in builders’ dumpy bags, delivered directly to your door across Newcastle, Gateshead, Durham, and surrounding areas. Customers are also welcome to collect directly from our site, open from 6:00am – 2:00pm.

The Kiln-Drying Advantage

Our kiln-drying process uses heat generated from our own biomass boilers, fuelled entirely by waste wood and offcuts from our operations. This sustainable approach reduces the moisture content of our firewood to 12–15%, ensuring the highest calorific value and maximum heat return. Our roundwood is procured either through Forestry Commission tenders or from trusted large UK logging operations that follow strict sustainability and woodland management standards.
